Location: Rome

This installation was the result of a competition to re-imagine the contents and function of the contemporary art museum. 

The response was to physically change the entrances to make them look like bloated forms-a representation of the building pressures to exhibit more and more art deemed valuable by the market. This was inspired by the incessant drive to collect as a market driven phenomenon, which if not controlled, will amount to infinitely larger and unsustainable institutions.
